Who we are:

We are a housebuilder focused on developing design-led properties. Our portfolio is diverse in both scale and character, from one off houses, to mixed-use developments with all of our thoughtfully designed schemes being a product of our desire to produce design-led homes that act as great spaces, in which people can thrive.

The properties we build combine a creative, considered, intelligent design philosophy with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to both innovation and the environment. We work alongside planning consultants, architects, interiors designers, suppliers to enable the progression and development of meticulously thought out schemes right from the very start.

The UK planning system is complex, ever-changing and under-resourced to cope with the demands of the housing shortage. With many years of successful experience in the planning system, South and Seventeen is able to identify development opportunities, assess potential sites, prepare planning schemes and deliver high quality, beautifully designed homes.

This office building had been vacant for years and was in need of an upgrade. After many design meetings with our professional team, the scheme was defined and construction began to create 12 beautiful apartments, well located and well suited to the local market.

For this particular project, we had to go through various compliance measures to make sure our work followed stringent conservation standards. It’s a great example of our commitment to delivering quality development projects and seeing it through from start to finish despite complications in order to ensure full satisfaction of the council's conservation officer and planning authority.

South and Seventeen converted this tired light industrial site into a residential building. We were very strict about the materials and footprint of our design. We worked closely with the local authority in producing an economically and environmentally sustainable outcome, and we did everything to respect the wishes of the local community. The project was completed earlier than the anticipated completion date and under budget.
